In order to allow ample time for all patients and surgical procedures, we primarily operate by appointment only. Emergency cases will receive top priority, which is why there may be a delay in the occasional scheduled appointment.
Please be aware that there is a late fee of $13.00 applied to appointments that arrive 10-15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment while a charge of $27.00 will be applied to any appointments that are over 15 minutes late and that still want to be seen. This is our work-in charge, and it also applies to any pets that do not have a scheduled appointment.
We ask that all dogs be kept on a leash and cats in a cat carrier while in the waiting room of our veterinary hospital.
For your convenience, we allow "drop-off" appointments, meaning you may bring your pet into the practice at a time that works best for you. Drop-off appointments are typically welcomed in the morning hours so that our doctors have enough time to examine your pet between appointments or at the time that is reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor has completed the exam, we’ll give you a call to go over diagnosis and discharge instructions.
For any type of appointment, we ask that you bring medications (prescription and over the counter), nutritional supplements, and anything else that you administer to your pet. We like to verify everything the pet receives at home, potential drug instructions, doses, etc.
In order to comply with safety standards for all animals in our care, we require that all of your pet’s vaccinations be up to date as well. If you don’t know the last vaccination your pet has received, contact our office at 803-831-1318.
At TotalBond Veterinary Hospital at Bethel we require full payment at the time of services rendered. For your convenience, we accept:
If coming in for an appointment and you know your pet needs a prescription refill, please let us know at the time of making an appointment, or call ahead before coming in. We also have an online store to order your pet’s prescriptions, and deliver right to your door.
Prescription diets are recommended by your veterinarian to treat a variety of conditions. We do carry many of these prescriptions at our veterinary hospital for your convenience.
